THERE was good news on the jobs front for the second time this week as Acorn Insurance announced it is expanding.
Acorn Life Group, one of Ireland’s leading financial services providers, has announced major business development plans for 2015 which will see 125 new employment opportunities filled nationwide, with 10 jobs coming to Limerick.
Recruitment has already begun. The roles span from IT to Financial Advisory to Marketing professionals and more.
Speaking of the Acorn Life’s 2015 plans Eamonn Kelly, Agency Development Manager in Limerick, “Last year (2014) was a very successful one for Acorn Life – with business levels up 50 per cent”.
Earlier this week, cloud computing giants, AMAX opened its new facility in Shannon. The company aims to employ 100 people in new positions there.
