Four teams now remain in the 2014/15 All-Ireland Club SHC and BoyleSports can report further support for Kilkenny side, Ballyhale Shamrocks, who bid to land a record 6th All-Ireland title.
The Kilkenny club, who will face Gort in the semi-finals, are now 4/9 from 4/6 to lift the trophy on March 17th with their nearest rivals in the betting being Munster champions, Kilmallock, who are on offer at 5/2 to come out on top on St Patrick’s Day.
The Munster champions will face Ulster champions, Portaferry, on February 7th and are red hot at 1/8 to progress to the final having initially been installed at 1/6. A draw is on offer at 14/1 with Portaferry 5/1 to cause a shock result.
Liam Glynn, PR Executive at BoyleSports said “Gort caused a shock when dethroning current All-Ireland club hurling champions Portumna on Sunday and as a result, the Galway side have seen their price tumble into 13/2 from 16/1. They now face a stiffer task as they meet red hot favourites Ballyhale Shamrocks in the semi-finals.”
He added “Punters certainly believe that Ballyhale Shamrocks are the team to beat as they continue to attract support at 4/9 to land a record 6th All-Ireland Club SHC title at Croke Park on March 17th. The Kilkenny side had been as big as 10/1 to claim the crown back in early October.”
