THE COCA-COLA Zero Bikes scheme is to launch this Monday (December 8) in Limerick, making 215 bikes available for hire across the city.
The Coca-Cola bicycles can be found at 23 pick-up stations mainly in the city centre. The scheme is being made possible by Coca-Cola Ireland in partnership with the Department of Transport, the National Transport Authority (NTA) and Limerick city and county council.
Coca-Cola Ireland will be investing €3million over the next five years in the project.
The National Transport Authority is urging people who would like to avail of the bikes, to pre-register on www.bikeshare.ie before December 30 to avail of a 50 per cent discount that will bring the annual registration fee to just €5.
