“COME and sing carols in St Mary’s Cathedral on Saturday December 13 at 5.30pm. Christmas carol singing is fun for all the family,” is the message from Peggy Carey, stalwart of the cathedral music programme. “We will be including many of the favourites – we hope to put you in the Christmas spirit.”
With free admission, there is a retiring collection in aid of Limerick City Parish and St Mary’s Cathedral Flower Festival 2015.
The special guests on Saturday 13 are Limerick Choral Union and St Mary’s Prize Band – “a chance to hear two famous musical mainstays of Limerick’s rich culture, of which we are justifiably proud”.
