TWO people arrested in connection with the seizure of €100,000 worth of cannabis herb in Limerick last Thursday have been released from custody without charge.
A male aged 54 and a female aged 40 were arrested as part of an operation to disrupt the distribution and sale of drugs in Limerick.
Gardai apprehended the pair as they left the Davin Gardens estate in Caherdavin driving a car that had the drugs concealed.
As part of the operation, the drugs have now been sent to Dublin for technical and forensic analysis and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
