Fancy dressing up for a good cause this Halloween then “Trick or Treat for Temple Street” is just the ticket.
The charity event will be held on the bank holiday weekend at the Orchard Bar. The Halloween fancy dress fundraiser is organised by local man Killian Fitzgerald to raise money for Temple Street Children’s University Hospital.
Killian said; “My reason of choice for this Charity, Temple Street Children’s University Hospital is because I, myself have been a patient for 21 years with a life long condition called Phenylketonuria (PKU), which is a metabolic disorder. All the staff [at Temple Street Hospital] were delighted with last year’s success and they are delighted to hear that we will be fundraising for their much needed funds.”
Entertainment on the night will be from Voice of Ireland Winner 2013, Keith Hanley, Magician Steve Spade and singer/songwriter Rachy P, followed by DJ KESH.
The event takes place in the Orchard Bar on Friday October 24 at 9pm. Entry fee is €10 with access to Crush 87 niteclub. A ‘best dressed’ competition will also be held on the night. For more information contact Killian Fitzgerald on 085-7336654 or TrickorTreat Limerick on Facebook.
