Sunday’s Child Theatre Company brings ‘My Name is Saoirse’ by Eva O’Connor to 69 O’Connell Street on Friday October 3. Set in 1987, it’s the story of a Limerick schoolgirl who finds herself pregnant following a night in Wilson’s Bar.
‘My Name is Saoirse’ won the Emerging Artists of the Year Award, Edinburgh 2012. As ever, book for 69 O’Connell Street by way of venue manager www.limetreetheatre.ie or walk up on the night, October 3.

Simon Callow comes to 69 O’Connell Street for one night only, Saturday November 1 with the Lyric Belfast production of ‘The Man Jesus’. Written by Matthew Hurt, Callow is directed by Joseph Alford in a look-back on the man Jesus Christ was in his time, in this “thought-provoking, thrilling and full of with” piece of theatre.
