A MAN in his 20s has been killed in a road collision on the N20 Limerick to Cork road this afternoon – the second fatal road accident in the county in 24 hours and the third this month. The two-car collision took place at around 12.30pm at Creggane, two miles outside Charleville. The deceased was the driver of one of the vehicles involved; he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second car received non-life threatening injuries. There were no passengers in either car. A section of the road is currently closed to facilitate a forensic collision investigation. Witnesses are asked to contact Bruff Garda station on 061 382940.
