STEVE Collins has thanked the people of Limerick, the public and praised the work of An Garda Siochana in bringing to justice the killers of his son Roy Collins.

In April 2009, the Collins business family were dealt a “life sentence” when “evil” men murdered his son.

Today, after reading from a 45 page judgement, the three judge non jury court handed down life sentences in prison to Wayne Dundon and Nathan Killeen for their parts in that callous murder of the innocent 35-year-old father of two.

Speaking afterwards, Steve – accompanied by his family – said that some day they hoped to move back to Ireland, limerick and their friends and that they are glad their day of justice finally came after 1833 days.
