THE strike by air traffic controllers in France which led to long delays and cancellations at Shannon airport, has ended.
The action was due to go on until the weekend but ended after two days as progress was made in talks between the unions and the French government.
It is expected there will be some residual delays as a result of the action but Ryanair said all of its flights will go ahead.
A spokesman for Shannon airport said all flight schedules have gone back to normal.
