Theatre at the Savoy presents ‘POSTSCRIPT’ this Thursday June 26, Friday 27 at 1pm and again at 6pm.
Produced by Bigger Picture Projects and directed by Conor Hanratty, POSTSCRIPT “is a poignant and humorous account based on a true story of an adopted person’s search for identity”
Booknow at www.limericktheatre.com to see Noelle Brown and Bríd Ní Neachtáin bring to life the letters that inform this quest.
Brown’s perspective reads:
“From an early age I was told I was adopted. In fairness I think my parents had no choice but to tell me, what with me being redheaded with pale skin in a family with dark skin and dark hair, it was pretty obvious that something wasn’t right.
“While I loved being able to say I was adopted as a child – it made me feel exotic – I also learned that it was a word that was used by adults with a dropped voice.”
Drop your voice and €12 at this monthly theatre platform for admission to show, soup and sandwich by day and a glass of wine by evening with optional tapas another €5. Payday Productions is gatekeeper to this excellent series, Theatre at the Savoy.
