Performances variously at 3pm, 7pm and 8pm.
NOFIT State, the company behind contemporary circus BIANCO, has chosen Limerick for the international premier of its new season show. Bound for a big top within Culture Factory for June 14 to 22, brought here by City of Culture offices, the Limerick production will be the first staging of 2014โฒs format.
โWe have a 550 person capacity โ itโs the way were present the work which is a ย promenade show,โ creative producer Tom Rack tells Arts page. โPerformers will be below, above, around, beside and we like think, inside the audience as well. Itโs a really good quality experience for everybodyโ.
The ย spaceship structure of the arena is crowned by giant towers, confirming an otherwordly experience enhanced by the live band on stage with a total of 20 performers.
The Plassey Road venue premiers 2014โฒs international tour: โWeโve brought in new artists, found new people, worked on refreshing the music and choreographyโ.
Rack describes the finale sequence as a โjust breathtakingly beautiful image, sensational. Then hereโs an amazing sequence with a girl in a massive white dress and itโs the cinematic scale of all which evolves into an amazing piece of circusโ.
Anticipate tightwire acts, a juggler โwhose style and quality is burning to watch, trapeze artists filling the airโ. All is underscored by a live musical performance to heighten levels of โexcitement and spectacleโ.
