DR Dilis Clare, Ireland’s only qualified GP and medical herbalist, is coming to Limerick to give a public seminar on the use of medicinal herbs to combat everyday health problems.
Dr Clare will be in the South Court Hotel on Thursday April 24 at 7:30pm to inform guests about the benefits of a more natural and integrated approach to medicine and healthcare.
The ‘doctor herbalist’, who has appeared on national radio and TV to discuss her work, is regarded as a passionate speaker with a relaxed, down to earth style about the relevance of herbs in everyday life. She has been running Health and Herbs, an integrated health clinic in Galway, for the past 10 years.
She explained: “Herbs are an effective treatment for many of the common health problems we live with today. “Problems such as stress, digestive issues, respiratory issues including sinusitus, immune boosting, fatigue, hormone support, urinary tract issues, skin problems and weight management can all be treated herbally. Herbs can help you in a natural way, with minimal side effects.”
