THREE search and rescue units as well as the Coastguard helicopter and gardai were involved in a search for a missing man in the Killaloe area this Friday lunchtime.
The Mallow Search and Rescue unit had been in Clonlara helping in the search for another missing person when they were diverted to join the Killaloe Coastguard and the Killaloe Ballina Search and Recovery unit.
The search was concentrated around the area known locally as Between the Waters, The emergency services were alerted when the man was reported missing by his family
