WELL done to everyone involved in making this year’s Laurel Gala fashion show a great success. The event, which has been running for 35 years now and is one of the biggest of it’s kind in the Mid-West, proved a great night out as students from both schools joined models from the Holman-Lee agency on the catwalk.
Over 400 guests attended at Limerick Strand Hotel as some of the region’s leading fashion stores showcased the very latest Spring and Summer style.
Models from the Holman-Lee agency showcased Gretta Gibbs, O’Donnell’s Boutique, Amee’s, Isobel, Catherine Mc Cormack, Tippee Canoe, Pamela Scott, Connolly Man, Stitch and Lady Penelope while the Laurel Hill students modelled looks from Brown Thomas.
Hartmann Opticians complemented all the looks with the latest range of sunglasses and Serendipity displayed new season shoe designs. The award winning Hugh Campbell Hair Group was also there to make sure the models and students looked their best with the latest hair trends.
The was also plenty of support from local businesses with lots of great spot prizes up for grabs for those who were enjoying the show.
This means that funds raised on the night will now go towards the benefit of both present and future generations of Laurel Hill Coláiste and Laurel Hill Secondary School Students.
