SEARCHES are set to resume for two students missing in Limerick since the early hours of last Thursday.

21-year-old LIT students union Vice President Steven Kavanagh (pictured left) was last seen having left a party on the outskirts of Limerick City.

A cross county and multi agency search for Steven is underway on the Limerick Clare border near Clonlara.

Last seen wearing blue jeans and a Limerick FC jacket, Steven is 5′ 10″ in height, with brown hair and of slight build.

Meantime, Offaly native 19-year-old Mark Casey (pictured right) was last seen in the Cornmarket area of the city again in the early hours of Thursday last.

Described as 5′ 7″, Mark is a student of NUI Galway but was in Limerick on the night in question and had been socialising in Angel Lane nite club it is understood.

Mark was wearing grey chinos with a dark coloured tshirt and grey collar.

Anyone with information in relation to either case of these missing students is asked to contact Gardai at Henry Street on 061 212400.
