19-year-old missing following night out in Limerick

APPEALS for information as to the whereabouts of a second young student are being sought after a 19-year-old man was reported missing since March 6 last.

Described as 5′ 7″ in height and of normal complexion, Mark Casey was last seen in the vicinity of Angel Lane night club in the Cornmarket area of the city around midnight.

As information is being sought, Gardai say that Mark was last seen wearing grey chino styled pants and a dark coloured t-shirt with a grey collar.

Originally from Offally, Mark is a student of NUI Galway but had been socialising in Limerick earlier this week.

Family members are appealing for information and ask that if you have seen Mark or know of his whereabouts to please contact Henry Street Garda Station on 061212400, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.

Meantime, searches for a 21-year-old LIT student will resume over the weekend.

Steven Kavanagh was last seen in the early hours of Thursday morning after leaving a party in an accommodation complex on the outskirts of the city.

The 21-year-old, who is also the Vice President of the LIT student union, was last seen wearing blue jeans and a Limerick FC jacket.

He is described as being 5′ 10″ with tight brown hair and of slight build.
