DELIGHTED here at Limerick Post that one of our Entertainment interviews was referenced by Cerys Matthews on her BBC Radio 6 show last Sunday morning. One of the themes of her eclectic music show last weekend was famous bandleaders where she referenced an interview given by Limerick musician Dave Keary to Limerick Post Newspaper recently describing his experience as guitarist in Van Morrison’s band.
Welsh singer/songwriter Cerys Matthews had hits with ‘Road Rage’ and ‘Mulder and Scully’ with her band Catatonia in the nineties. These days she makes documentaries and presents on BBC Radio and Television and writes for music magazine Songlines.
Thanks to Dan Dwyer aka @fearjazz for the heads up on the Limerick Post reference.
