The University of Limerick campus is fully open, all areas have power and all scheduled classes, lectures, labs etc. are going ahead as normal.
There were approximately 60 trees blown over or uprooted on the UL campus as a result of Storm Darwin however all roads are clear and work is underway to clear up fallen trees.
The North Campus (Clare Side) was without power for approximately 12 hours from 1:30pm yesterday to after 1am this morning when power was restored by ESB crews.
There has been some minor structural damage to one or two buildings but no casualties were reported on campus and all areas of the University are up and running smoothly today.
