CONGRATULATIONS to the fantastic team behind last week’s charity table quiz in aid of Milford Hospice.
Once again expert quiz master Mike Finn and hilarious MC Myles Breen, who between them can turn any regular quiz into a superb night’s entertainment, joined forces with Dave Irwin who brought a brilliant musical flavour to this year’s proceedings!
The much awaited quiz took place at the Best Western Pery’s Hotel on Glentworth Street with groups of friends, work colleagues and quiz sharks spotted enjoying the fun night out.
The evening was particularly poignant as it was in memory of Trish Prendergast. All proceeds went to Milford Care Centre which provides crucial specialist palliative care and older persons services to the people of the Mid West.
As expected for the hugely popular event, there was a great turnout for the special night as everyone mingled before dividing up into teams of four for the main event. As the night progressed everyone was kept highly entertained with plenty of general trivia, musical clues and comedy as they battled it out for the top prizes of the night – all for a great cause!
