BY hook and crane lift, by swimming pools in the sky and jet propulsion to the stars, Argentina’s ‘Fuerza Bruta’ has become the hottest ticket in London.
Filling north London’s Round House venue to half capacity at c.700 to allow for crowd sway and dynamic, this roller coaster of high-wire acts, ‘running man’ and shrieking dervishes who scale pneumatic, revolving walls is coming to Limerick.
Limerick City of Culture is investing €400,000 in bringing ‘Feurza Bruta’ (brute force) to Limerick for 10 days and 13 performances, starting on March 13, 7pm and 9pm shows.
The good news is that we pay just €28 and €20 concession for tickets while fans attending in the UK pay £46.50 to access. Yet this multi-award winning theatre spectacle is the highest grossing show ever in this huge venue of 1,300 square meters, and running for 100 performances until March 2.
This is a production for which you will stand, reach, cower, dance and be dusted with glitterball glee, as was Limerick Post in London at the weekend.
