Businesswomen throughout the Mid West are invited to Network Limerick’s first event of 2014 where head of Direct Mail for An Post Amie Peters will join as guest speaker and offer valuable insights into modern business developments.

Admission to the event is free to both Network Limerick Members and the public and those in attendance will hear from Amie who established the Mail Media Unit, a new commercial Business Unit within An Post, to build awareness of its direct mail business and to communicate the relevance and power of effective one-to-one marketing with mail.

Recognised as an authority on direct marketing in Ireland, it’s no surprise that her expertise has been highly valued by some of this country’s leading organisations. In addition to being a regular judge of marketing awards, she’s the recipient of numerous national and international awards.

Ms Peters was recently awarded as a finalist of Ireland’s Marketer of the Year Award 2012. Amie’s involvement in the industry also extends to her fellowship of the Marketing Institute and the board of the Irish Direct Marketing Association

During the event Amie is going to demonstrate how the power of mail can be utilised to generate sales from both new and existing customers.

This networking evening is the ideal way for Limerick businesswomen to establish new contacts, build up and strengthen relationships and keep abreast of issues that could affect their businesses. Networking is an essential skill for business people.

To attend Network Limerick’s event in The Savoy Hotel on Thursday, 6th February, please RSVP to Alison O’Brien at [email protected]. Please note that places are limited so early registration is recommended.
