EDDIE Oโ€™Sullivan has come on board to help Garryowen avoid the drop. It seems to be too little too late for the light blues, but a win over fourth placed Lansdowne would be a good start if they are to survive.

Prediction: Lansdowne

Division 1A

Young Munster v Clontarf 2.30pm

Saturday January 25, Greenfields

THE game of the weekend as first plays third. Clontarf are 8-1 from their nine games and if Young Munster can nip this one, the league title could still be in sight.

Prediction: Clontarf to be too strong

Division 1B

Blackrock v Shannon 2.30pm

Saturday January 25, Stradbrook

SHANNON will know that Blackrock are there for the taking at home and with the Coonagh men getting better as the season goes on, a win can be expected.

Prediction: Shannon

Division 1B

UL Bohemians v Terenure 2.30pm

Saturday January 25, Annacotty

IF there is one team who can beat anyone on their day it is Colm Tuckerโ€™s Bohemians. Terenure are unbeaten and look locked on to win the title. Unless of course they slip up here.

Prediction: Terenure in a close one.

In division 2A, Old Crescent travel to Bective knowing that a win is needed to move themselves away from the drop zone. Bruff, currently without a win, travel to tenth placed Naas looking for some hope for 2014.

In division 2B, tenth placed Richmond take on Sundayโ€™s Well at Musgrave Park in what is a very winnable game for the green and whites.

Their near neighbours and divisional rivals Thomond take on Greystone at Fitzgerald Stdium in a fourth plays second in the table clash.
