Tornado research hits Limerick

kilmallockAN expert in tornado research is continuing his investigations into the strong winds that hit Kilmallock on December 18 when three people were taken to hospital as a result of minor injures sustained in the stormy weather.

Dr John Tyrrell, from the department of geography at University College Cork, is seeking further information in relation to the event which also resulted in tens of thousands of euro worth of damage being caused to property in the town.
