LIMERICK local authority’s director of economic development and planning Tom Enright is to leave his position at the end of February to take up a new role as County Manager with Wexford County Council.
A native of Waterford, Mr Enright worked in the planning department of Limerick County Council for almost 20 years before being appointed to head up the economic division of the amalgamated city and county local authority last year.
He took charge of the €250 million Limerick 2030 economic renewal scheme which is expected to deliver up to 5,000 jobs to the city and county over the next five years.
