LIMERICK on Ice celebrates ten years in business with the announcement of 80 new seasonal jobs for the city this Christmas.
Finance Minister Michael Noonan announced the new jobs at the launch of the Arthur’s Quay-based ice rink this week. One of the largest and most popular real ice rinks in the west of Ireland, Limerick on Ice’s new positions included ice marshals, box office staff, marketing and administration.
Managing director of Limerick on Ice, Fran O’Donnell commented, “We are delighted to announce the creation of 80 seasonal jobs for this year’s festivities.”
“We are proactive in supporting the local community and we attract over 30,000 people into Limerick City Centre each year which in turn benefits the local retailers. As we continue to grow we have recently hired many new staff members,” said Fran.
Limerick On Ice runs until January 5. For more details log onto the Limerick on Ice facebook page.
