Villiers School hosted its 23rd annual charity fashion show last Thursday 24 evening in the luxurious surroundings of the The Radisson Blu Hotel.
The show, which had a glamorous Hollywood theme, featured beautiful styles from shops throughout the region including Timberland, Imasa, Swamp, Gretta Gibbs, Taylor & Blue, A-Wear, Noel’s Menswear, Pamela Scott, Tippe Canoe, Lady Penelope, Frocks’n’Frills, Born Clothing, X-pose, No 15 Hats and Accessories, Sharon’s Hats, My Choice, Stitch, Elverys, Caroline Mitchell, Lady Sefton, Amore Mio, Esquire Menswear and Virjinia’s. There was also a Transition year Enterprise stand created by the school’s students.
This show raised funds for Milford Hospice, which provides specialist palliative care and services for older people here in Mid West.
Once again the show was excellently produced by the Hilary Thompson Model Agency and models were joined by over 80 students who took to the catwalk in a range of high fashion Hollywood looks. There was even a Best Dressed Award Ceremony after the show with Oscars being presented on the night by the Transition Year Committee.
The Hugh Campbell Hair Group took care of the hair styling for the event which saw nearly 500 guests showing their support for both the school and Milford Hospice.
Other highlights included an exhibition area featuring various stands like No 15 Hats and Accessories, Geraldine Cahill, Cratloe; Sharon’s Hats and a TY Enterprise stand with arriving guests able to mingle before the main event. There was also generous raffle with lots of great prizes and vouchers from the participating stores up for grabs during the night. So well done to everyone at Villiers School for organising yet another great fashion show for a great cause!
