LIMERICK’S Protobaby unveiled the band’s new lead singer Aoife McLoughlin (Voice of Ireland finalist) at their main stage gig at Indiependance Festival last August. The band have just completed recording their new single called ‘Keep Running’ in Dublin’s The Production Suite. The single will be the first new release since the bands well received debut album ‘The Spark’. ‘Keep Running’ will be accompanied by a video by Shane Serrano and will be launched with the new line-up’s first hometown gig at Dolans Warehouse on November 2 with a Halloween Themed After-Show Party.
“What better time to launch a new single than Halloween weekend. Be sure to dress up and join the party. Think Lost Boys, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Return to Oz. Vamp it up, Steam punk it off to the 80’s halloween party of the year. Discounted ticket price on the night for those who whip out the bin liners, paint the faces and throw their creativity in action,” say the band.
As well as support acts and Protobaby’s live show, DJs will take control of Dolan’s record decks for a Night of the Living Dead Halloween after show party till late. Featuring a great line up of Limerick bands with Senakah, Parliament Square and My Empire, Protobaby play Dolan’s this Saturday November 2.
