The winning ticket was bought from Dunnes Stores.
Jo is originally from Dublin. She lived in Kerry for 19 years before living in Greystones for the past 25 years. She has eight children – one son and seven daughters.
Jo is retired, but is heavily involved with the Limerick Animal Welfare Group.
She buys Scratch Cards sporadically and if she knew she was going to be chosen she wouldn’t have posted her Scratch Card off until next week! She was late home from mass last Saturday evening as there was a rugby match on in nearby Thomond Park and got a call from a friend telling her the great news. She found it very hard to believe it was true!
