‘FAIR City’ actress Helen Norton will be among the guests at a fundraising fashion show for the Knockainey National School renovation project at Bulgaden Castle on Saturday, November 9.
The fundraising committee has already raised €75,000 and is now just €15,000 short of its target, with a school Christmas concert also on the agenda.
Among the modelling line-up are Limerick hurlers Gavin O’Mahony and James Ryan, former Miss Limerick Becky Costello and Limerick FC manager Stuart Taylor.
Committee chairman John McNamara said that Helen Norton’s guest appearance was a major boost for the organizers. “Helen is part of the main storyline in Fair City at the moment in renewing her wedding vows with Paddy and we are delighted that she has agreed to attend”, he said.
Interval entertainment will be provided by Limerick magician, Terence Andrews and there will also be a Best Dressed Lady and Gent competition as well as a raffle for valuable prizes. Tickets are available from any committee member, or from the school between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday.
