An information evening for Limerick city retailers and businesses will take place on Monday September 16th at 7pm at the Savoy.
The purpose of this meeting is to outline plans following the recent designation by Retail Excellence Ireland of Limerick as a national Pilot City.
The event will address how this designation will benefit those doing business in the city and how retailers can play a part in its success.
The meeting will be chaired by Bobby Kerr of Insomnia Coffee Company.
Speaking after the recent announcement of Limerick’s successful bid to become Pilot City Conn Murray, Manager of Limerick City and County Council said: “The overriding objective of this initiative is to deliver a more vibrant and engaging civic space for citizens to enjoy.
“Being selected as Pilot City will maximise the potential of all the positive developments currently taking place in Limerick”, he added.
Speakers confirmed for the event are Tom Enright, Director of Economic Development at Limerick City and County Council, David Fitzsimons, Chair of Retail Excellence Ireland, and Helen O’Donnell, Chair Limerick City Business Association.
The working groups aim to use this information event to inform every retailer and business in Limerick of the opportunity this project presents to our city going forward.
All retailers and businesses in the city are encouraged to attend this event.
