FRIDAY August 31 evening saw the much awaited opening of the brand new restaurant at Ballyneety Golf Club, Vines Grill and Wine Bar.
Owner Johnny Khalife, whose own vineyard in Lebanon was the inspiration for the restaurant name, plus Angela Lynch and their team were delighted to welcome over 500 guests to the official opening. The night was a great success and a great indicator for the new venture. Behind the scenes chefs Brian McCarthy and Kevin Nolan and their team were busy creating a host of superb dishes, giving guests a taster of what can be expected from the top quality and varied menu on offer at Vines.
Special guests at the opening meanwhile included Limerick FC players David O’Leary and Robbie Williams and former International rugby players Joy Neville and Fiona Steed who officially opened Vines cutting the ribbon with Johnny and Angela.
As guests sampled the fine wines and sumptuous food, musician Brian Carroll kept everyone entertained as they mingled throughout the newly renovated venue which even boasts its own boardroom which is perfect for private parties.
The venue even has its very own Vines Taxi Service with pick up and drop off on the hour to get you there and back on time, so congratulations to Johnny and Angela and all the staff at Vines and all the best for the future.
