THE party atmosphere at the Library Bar on Cornmarket Row continued last weekend as Ami James from Miami and New York Ink fame partied the night away at the popular venue.
There was a great buzz when fans of the legendary tattoo artist who rose to fame on the hit TV show Miami Ink alongside co-owner Chris Núñez and subsequently New York Ink heard he was in town.
A lot of party goers had already reserved their booths in anticipation of the night and after some impressive inking earlier that day at Allstar Ink tattoo studios in Limerick Ami James made his way to what has become one of the hottest live music venues in the city for the ‘Monster Party’. Also visiting the Library for the party was Naked Camera presenter and comedian PJ Gallagher and both were happy to pose with fans as the party got underway.
The Jackie Chan Allstars and DJ Peter Byrne provided the perfect soundtrack to the night and the late bar, finger food and drinks promotions all made for the perfect night.
Another not to be missed date for your diary at the Library bar, meanwhile, will be Saturday September 14 when hugely popular 90’s tribute band Smash Hits will perform at the venue.
This Dublin six piece is hugely popular on the live music and festival circuits in Ireland, donning their 90’s outfits and performing all the classic 90s tracks with their set featuring everything from Vanilla Ice, C&C Music Factory to House of Pain and Snap to name but a few and the gig is bound to pull a big crowd!
