WITH back to school season in full swing for the kids in Limerick there were also plenty of ladies getting into the spirit of things last Friday night and all for a great cause!
Sharon Tucker and Charolette McLoughlin of Thelma & Louise’s returned to Clohessy’s bar and Sin Bin with their annual charity night and this time they hosted a popular ‘Back2School’ themed party in aid of Self Help Africa.
Self Help Africa works with rural poor communities in nine African countries helping them to improve their farms and in turn their livelihoods with the goal of achieving economic independence.
JP Dillon from Limerick’s Live 95FM was host for the event and highlights included entertainment from Magic Dave, goodie bags for all the girls on arrival and over 50 spot prizes and vouchers sponsored by generous local businesses from hotels and restaurants to jewellers and shops etc.
The staff at Clohessy’s also created special cocktails for the occasion as male dancers from Dublin dance troupe EliteKissagrams Ireland performed for the girls. The costumes guests wore at the event were top notch which wasn’t surprising with a superb best dressed prize of a sun holiday for two with spending money up for grabs!
The ladies also enjoyed lots of hilarious party games with sexy prizes courtesy of hosts Thelma & Louises store and afterwards the sexy school girls made their way to the Sin Bin nightclub to dance the night away with all funds raised on the night going to Self Help Africa.
