THE Cappamore Agricultural Show will take place this Saturday August 17. It will include displays and competitions in areas such as cookery, crafts, agricultural and horticultural produce as well as traditional show sections such as cattle and horse showing and jumping classes. Founded in 1954, the Cappamore Show is considered Ireland’s leading one day show and is held at the Showgrounds in Portnard. Gates open at 9am. For more information see www.cappamoreshow.ie
