FANS of both sport and quizzes were in for a real treat last week as they gathered at Clohessy’s Bar for the Massive Sports Quiz in aid of CARI (children at risk in Ireland).
The sports only table quiz raised much needed funds for the CARI foundation, a voluntary organisation which provides child centred specialised therapy and support to children, families and groups affected by child sexual abuse.
JP Dillon from Limerick’s Live 95fm acted as MC for the charity event which saw teams of four competing for the top spot. The teams were tested on their sporting knowledge in a series of sports related rounds on all sports from rugby and soccer to golf and GAA and everything in between.
Other highlights included great live music entertainment and lots of great prizes making for a superb night out for a great cause.
