April Collins, whose illness resulted in the adjournment of the trial

THE Shane Geoghegan murder trial heard evidence that accused, John Dundon, threatened to kill April Collins’ sister unless her boyfriend stole a car for him.

Lisa Collins (29) told the Special Criminal Court that on the night of the murder, John Dundon arrived at the house she shared with her partner, Christopher McCarthy at Crecora Avenue. “Dundon was laughing and said several times that Johnny McCarthy was dead”.

She said Dundon came to the house a couple of weeks before the murder and told her boyfriend to steal a car. He warned her boyfriend “if you don’t do it, I’ll kill her,” she said.
