MEMBERS of the public are being invited to attend a meeting to find out more about Limerick’s City of Culture 2014 preparations on Thursday, July 11 at No. 2 Pery Square from 5-9pm. The evening will also feature dance and theatrical performances from local artists including entertainment from Limerick choir Ancór at 7pm, while an artisan craft fair will run throughout the evening. Those planning festivals next year and who wish to promote their event are particularly welcome. Attendees can also get involved in a number of various ‘pillar groups’ representing areas such as food and craft, sport or the arts.
