THE headless horseman will ride again through the Ballyhoura countryside on July 13. The third annual adventure race is open to both experienced and emerging competitors to take part in a 22k or 78k challenge consisting of road cycling, running and kayaking. There is also a relay option. Headless Horseman co-ordinator Fiona Hayes said: โ€œYou will get tired, dirty and more than likely wet during the event but most of all you will have fun.โ€ This year the event is partnered with Clionaโ€™s Foundation, a locally-based national charity who provide financial assistance to families with critically ill children.
