€1.8 million extra for county roads

LIMERICK County Council received an extra €1.8million for the upgrade of county roads. The Department of Transport has allocated the funding under the Restoration Improvement Grant bringing the council’s road funding to €7.2 million for 2013. The money will be used for surface restoration works or safety schemes the council deems urgent.
