cross-silhouette1THE 2013 Limerick Diocese Lourdes Pilgrimage, scheduled to depart from Shannon Airport on Friday, June 21 and return on Wednesday, June 26 has been cancelled due to flooding in the Lourdes area.

Canon Donal McNamara, director of the Limerick Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage, said the area has been “absolutely devastated by flooding” and the hotel the pilgrims were booked into is without electricity.
