Anti-austerity

MEMBERS of the Campaign Against Property Tax and Austerity will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, June 12 at 8pm in the Absolute Hotel, Limerick. The group is urging all Limerick residents who are opposed to austerity to join their campaign as it plans to stand in next year’s local elections. Activist Stephanie O’Shea commented: “If we are going to take on the political establishment in Limerick, we need everyone getting involved. We want to involve as many genuine people as possible, from every community, in deciding on our manifesto and candidates.”
