LADIES – and some of the boys – can look forward to a tasty Limerick dish being served up this summer in Celebrity Masterchef.
Delightful eye-candy and former Mr World, Kamal Ibrahim will be raising temperatures as he goes out to prove that he’s just as talented in the kitchen as he is on the catwalk and in the gym when he dons the Masterchef apron along seven other well-know Irish names.
The Lotto presenter will be hoping for hos own lucky break as he battles it out in the heat and heats against former model Yvonne Keating; actor Gary Cooke; writer and broadcaster Maia Dunphy; athlete David Gillick; RTE newscaster Aengus Mac Grianna; RTE sports presenter Tracy Piggott and Irish Times journalist Conor Pope. The competition will be judged by Nick Munier and Dylan McGrath.
After the success of the first two series of MasterChef Ireland, with winners Mary Carney and Tamarin Blackmur, now it’s the turn of the eight celebrities to test their skill in the kitchen and be crowned the first Celebrity MasterChef Ireland.
Long before he contemplated a career in the chefing hot-spot, he began his working life as a model in 2005. He moved to television in 2011 and, proving he really is much more than a pretty face, he is also an airplane pilot, paraglider pilot, skydiver and an underwater search and rescue diver. He also plans on getting his helicopter license by 2015.
