THE Limerick Gospel Choir, is one of the many choirs preforming at this weekend’s Limerick Sings Festival. They will be performing at the Choral Extravaganza Concert that will be held in the University Concert Hall on Sunday, June 2. Limerick Sings invites both National and International choirs to the Treat city for a weekend of non-competitive music and song. Participating will give choirs the opportunity to present informal performances in various locations across Limerick city throughout the weekend. Three other festivals will take place this June bank holiday weekend set to attract thousands of visitors to the area. The TomCat street festival will include music, dance, artwork and photography in the city centre. Love Gourmet Week will see special promotions in all participating restaurants to promote local cuisine while the Foynes Irish Coffee Festival at the Flying Boat Museum brings the focus outside the city with a varied programme of events.
