MORE than 20 teenagers from Limerick’s Northside regeneration areas conquered Ireland’s most famous peak, Croagh Patrick earlier this month.
Young people from from Moyross and Ballynanty scaled the County Mayo mountain with Limerick Youth Service’s Northside Youth Cafe and Ballynanty Garda Youth Diversion Project.

The Northside Youth Cafe, one of three LYS Youth Cafes, is based at the Watch House Cross, Limerick, while the Ballynanty Garda Youth Diversion Project is one of three such projects run by LYS.
Now in its 40th year, LYS remains committed to encouraging and encouraging young people to be active participants in shaping their futures.
