LIMERICK Fine Gael TD Patrick O’Donovan and his family are in mourning following the death of his father this week.
John O’Donovan (82) from Churchtown Road in Newcastle West passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 15 following an illness.
Mr O’Donovan, who was a painter and decorator, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by members of his family.
Mr O’Donovan will be reposing at his home in Churchtown on Thursday May 15 from 6pm to 8pm and will be buried on Friday May 17 following 11.30am mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Newcastle West.
He is survived by his wife Nelly, sons Stephen, Gerry, John and Patrick and daughters Joan and Miriam, as well as his sisters Sr Miriam and Peig and brothers Fr Paddy and Stephen.
