VOLUNTEERS who have contributed to the development of Limerick Youth Service during the past four decades will travel from all over the world to participate in a special Gathering Limerick 2013 event next week.
The Strand Hotel will host the Limerick Youth Service (LYS) 40th Birthday Celebrations on Friday May 24.
LYS was founded in 1973 by the late Sr Joan Bowles. Today the organisation works with over 3,000 young people annually in providing a diverse range of educational, social, training and personal development programmes.
