Delta Air Lines seasonal nonstop service between Shannon Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy airport is restarting this weekend.
The flight will operate daily throughout the peak summer season using a Boeing 757-200 aircraft with 170 seats in conjunction with Delta’s joint venture partner Air France KLM.
“Our nonstop summer service increases passenger choice to and from the U.S. and the west coast of Ireland, supporting travel for thousands of holidaymakers and helping to give a boost to the local economy,” said Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s senior vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
