THE Limerick branches of Pamela Scott, along with 10 other stores in the country, have been transferred into examinership this week. Arzac, the fashion retailer trading under the brand name familiar with Limerick shoppers for many years, has said that it is aiming to restructure the company amid difficult trading times. With outlets in both the city centre on Henry Street and at the Crescent Shopping Centre, Pamela Scott stores in Dublin, Cork, Tralee, Carlow, Drogheda Arklow and Sligo have all been placed in examinership.
179 of the group’s 272 employees are work at these stores and the group says that they will continue to trade.
