Kennedy Cup coaching seminar comes to UL

-

REPUBLIC of Ireland Under 15 coaching staff will host a coaching seminar at UL next month for managers, coaches and goalkeeping coaches currently working with their league’s Kennedy Cup team.

Ireland Under 15 head coach Niall Harrison will be joined by his assistant Colin O’Brien and goalkeeping coach Tim Dalton for the seminar, which is the latter of two seminars due to take place in February.

The seminars are intended to assist league technical staff in preparing for the 2013 Kennedy Cup and clearly define the type of player needed for the Ireland Under 15 national team.

The first seminar takes place on Sunday February 3 at the AUL Complex in Clonshaugh in Dublin, with the second seminar due for UL on Sunday February 10. Both seminars will begin at 10.45am and are likely to be finished by 3.30pm.

The seminars will focus on five main themes:

  • The Kennedy Cup experience
  • Preparing for the Kennedy Cup
  • Under 15 national team philosophies and style of play
  • Practical sessions relating to the Under 15 team
  • Questions, observations and feedback
